Automatically confirm your Google Calendar appointments in Telegram

Stop losing appointments to no-shows. This n8n workflow reads your Google Calendar for bookings coming up in the next 24 hours and sends each client a personalized Telegram reminder asking them to reply YES to confirm or RESCHEDULE to change it—then instantly notifies you when clients respond.

What this workflow does

• Runs two flows side by side: one for outbound reminders, one for inbound client replies.
• Hourly reminder delivery: every hour, the workflow checks your Google Calendar for appointments scheduled in the next 24 hours.
• Pulls the Telegram chat id from each event: it extracts the client’s Telegram chat id from the event description.
• Sends a personalized reminder: your reminder message is configured with dynamic fields (e.g., {name} and {start} are replaced automatically).
• Collects responses in Telegram: a Telegram trigger listens for client messages. If someone requests to reschedule, you immediately receive an alert on your own Telegram with the client’s message.

Setup (no coding)

• Create a Telegram bot via @BotFather and add its token in the Telegram credentials.
• Connect your Google account in the Google Calendar node (uses your Primary calendar).
• Configure Set Reminder Config and Set Owner Config (paste your Telegram chat id).
• When creating a calendar event, include ChatID: 123456789 in the description, then activate the workflow.
