Scrape Google Maps leads with n8n—and automatically deduplicate them in Google Sheets
This n8n workflow takes a category and location from an n8n form, scrapes matching local business results from Google Maps using Figranium, and then deduplicates by business name before appending only new leads to Google Sheets.
What this workflow does
- Receives your search input via an n8n form submission (business category and location).
- Loads existing leads from a Google Sheets worksheet and aggregates them into a single list for comparison.
- Scrapes Google Maps with Figranium using the submitted category and location to fetch matching business results.
- Splits results into individual lead items and captures fields such as name, rating, address, phone, and website.
- Deduplicates each scraped lead against the cached Google Sheets list (checks by business name) and filters out leads already present.
- Appends new leads to the same Google Sheets spreadsheet and ignores duplicates.
Use cases
- Generate fresh lead lists for local SEO, sales prospecting, or partner outreach by running repeatable Google Maps searches.
- Maintain a single “source of truth” Google Sheets database without manual cleanup using automated deduping.
- Build an internal lead pipeline where SaaS operators trigger Google Maps scraping from an n8n form and keep results organized.
Technical details
- Integrations: Figranium (Google Maps scraping) + Google Sheets (read/write).
- n8n nodes used: if, no op, split out, aggregate, sticky note, form trigger.
- Deduplication logic: compares scraped leads to existing sheet entries by business name.
- Setup requirements: a running Figranium instance, an imported Google Maps scraping preset/task, and a configured n8n Figranium credential (instance URL + API key).
- Google Sheets setup: ensure your worksheet has columns for Name, Rating, Address, Phone, Website so appends map correctly.
