This n8n workflow receives a monthly sales report request, reads the relevant data from Google Sheets, uses Anthropic Claude to interpret the requested month and generate a short summary, then fills a copied Google Slides template (including a chart sourced from Sheets). The result: a ready-to-share Slides link—no manual reporting.

What this workflow does

• Receives requests from either an n8n Form submission or a Google Chat webhook.
• Validates Google Chat senders against an allowlist, returning a help/denial response when invalid.
• Fetches and parses sales rows from a configured Google Sheets tab into normalized records (date, group, value, and an optional distinct key).
• Extracts the requested month with Anthropic Claude, then verifies the month is valid, not in the future, and actually has matching rows.
• Computes reporting outputs including totals, month-over-month change (or month-to-date when applicable), counts, optional averages/distinct counts, and top groups.
• Writes a comparison table to a “Report” tab to drive a Google Sheets chart.
• Generates a 3-line Claude summary based on computed facts, with a safe fallback if any numbers don’t match the calculated dataset.
• Builds the final Slides deck by copying a Google Slides template, replacing {{placeholders}}, embedding the Sheets chart image at {{chart}}, and returning the Slides link.
