What this workflow does
- Runs on manual execution: Start the workflow whenever you’re ready to calculate a batch plan.
- Loads your inputs: Provide image metadata (pixel width/height, desired print width/height in centimeters), plus a target DPI and the comma-separated list of allowed enlargement scales you can actually use.
- Computes target pixel dimensions: For each print size, it calculates the pixel target and the scale required to fill the target area.
- Selects a compliant enlargement factor: It picks the smallest allowed enlargement factor that meets the requirement.
- Estimates crop loss: Based on the difference between source and print aspect ratios, it flags the percentage of content likely to be cropped.
- Flags unsupported upscales: Images exceeding your configured enlargement options are marked for review.
- Exports a downloadable plan: Generates a CSV report and outputs it as a downloadable binary file.
