Automatically capture fresh LinkedIn jobs in Google Sheets—every morning

This n8n workflow uses the Apify LinkedIn Jobs Scraper to search for new LinkedIn job postings each morning and append (or update) them in Google Sheets—while preventing duplicates using the job’s LinkedIn id. Perfect for keeping a clean, always-current job pipeline.

What this workflow does

  • Runs on a schedule: A Schedule Trigger starts the workflow every morning.
  • Builds LinkedIn search settings: It sets search parameters such as keywords, location, date range, per-keyword limit, and a cost cap via maxTotalChargeUsd.
  • Fetches job data from Apify: An HTTP Request calls the Apify LinkedIn Jobs Scraper Actor, returning recent postings (including extracted contact emails when available).
  • Validates and formats results: The workflow filters to keep only valid job rows, formats fields (including salary and a foundAt timestamp), and stops with an error if no jobs are returned.
  • Prevents duplicates in Google Sheets: It appends new jobs to Google Sheets or updates existing rows by matching on the job id.

Use cases

  • Build an “always fresh” LinkedIn job tracker for recruiting or hiring research.
  • Monitor specific roles and locations for SaaS operators and growth teams.
  • Create a lightweight lead list of job postings (with emails when available) for outreach workflows.

Technical details

  • Nodes / tech stack: set, code, sticky note, http request, google sheets, schedule trigger.
  • Apify integration: Uses an n8n HTTP Header Auth credential with Authorization: Bearer <token>.
  • Google Sheets schema: Create columns id, title, company, location, seniority, employmentType, salary, applicants, postedAt, url, emails, and foundAt.

Get fresh LinkedIn job postings into Google Sheets every morning—cleanly, automatically, and without duplicates.
