Need to find the right company record from a name or VAT/tax ID? This n8n workflow queries the S.C.A.L.A. Score API, selects the best match, and—when available—fetches the full company profile for you.

What this workflow does

• Manual start: Run the workflow when you need a lookup.
• Set your inputs: Provide query (company name or VAT/tax ID) and country (ISO country code).
• Search for the best match: Calls the Score Search endpoint and requests the top result using a configurable limit.
• Extract match details: Takes the first returned company ID and determines whether a match was found.
• Retrieve the full profile: If a match exists, it fetches the complete company profile from S.C.A.L.A. Score using the company ID.

Use cases

• Verify company data during onboarding when users enter a company name or VAT/tax ID.
• Enrich leads by pulling authoritative S.C.A.L.A. company profile details after a form submission.
