OpenAI drafts Google Docs—Lenz fact-checks before you publish

This n8n workflow takes a topic from a form, uses OpenAI to research and write a draft directly into a Google Doc, then runs Lenz to extract factual claims and verify them against independent sources—so you can approve with confidence (or keep as a draft / edit and re-check).

What this workflow does

• Collects your topic via an n8n form.
• Researches and drafts with OpenAI using OpenAI’s built-in web search, writing only from what it found and including sources.
• Stops early if sources are insufficient: if the workflow can’t find enough good sources, the run ends and the form reports the issue.
• Extracts factual claims with Lenz Extract (free) and rates them with Lenz Assess.
• Deep-checks red flags using Lenz Verify; if an error is confirmed, the AI rewrites only the incorrect sentences.
• Creates the final Google Doc with headings, lists, and links, then displays the report in the form.
• Approval loop with re-checking: before you Approve or Edit, the workflow reads the document again. If you edit by hand, Lenz checks the changed parts; if you edit, the AI rewrites from your note and Lenz re-verifies.
