Automatically fill your LinkedIn content gaps with PostNitro AI—powered by Google Sheets and Gmail

This n8n workflow checks PostNitro for tomorrow’s scheduled LinkedIn posts, and when a gap is found, it automatically selects an unused topic from Google Sheets, generates the post with PostNitro AI, schedules it for LinkedIn, and sends a Gmail confirmation or error alert.

What this workflow does

• Runs daily at 4 PM via a schedule trigger (confirm your timezone to match your intent).
• Gap check: lists scheduled posts in PostNitro for tomorrow (from the start of tomorrow through the start of the day after) to detect whether there are any upcoming posts.
• Selects a fallback topic: if no scheduled posts exist, reads your Google Sheets tab and selects one row where Used = "No".
• Generates & schedules: sends the selected topic to PostNitro AI to generate content and schedule a LinkedIn document post for tomorrow.
• Updates tracking: if scheduling succeeds, updates the sheet row to Used = "Yes" and Status = "Success".
• Notifications via Gmail: emails a confirmation on success; if generation/scheduling fails, emails an error alert including the attempted topic and error details.

• Required credentials: PostNitro API credential (ensure brandId, presetId, templateId, selectedAccount match your workspace) + Google Sheets OAuth2 + Gmail OAuth2.
• Sheet columns: Topic, Used (Yes/No), Status, and a row_number field for updates.
