n8n Workflow: PostWire Auto-Publish Shorts from Google Sheets

Auto-publish your Shorts from Google Sheets to TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube—twice daily

With this n8n workflow, you queue videos in Google Sheets and the automation automatically publishes the next “ready” Shorts item to TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts using the PostWire API—then updates your sheet with links or “needs fix” details.

What this workflow does

• Runs on a schedule: executes at 10:00 and 18:00 every day.
• Reads your publishing queue: scans your selected Google Sheet for rows where the status column equals “ready”.
• Publishes one queued video per run: it takes only the first matching row, ensuring one automation action per time slot.
• Prepares the PostWire payload: normalizes the video_url, derives a YouTube title when it’s missing, and parses the networks list to determine target platforms.
• Publishes via PostWire with idempotency: sends the video, caption, title, and target platforms using an idempotency key based on the sheet row and video URL.
• Writes results back to Google Sheets: updates the same row with posting links and a posted/partly posted outcome when at least one platform succeeds; otherwise writes “needs fix” with error details.

• Google Sheets requirements: columns include video_url, caption, title, networks, status, posted_at, links, note, and a row_number field used to match/update rows.
