n8n Workflow: Profile New Domains with DomainKits & Firecrawl

Find newly registered domains automatically—and get a clean profile report in one email

This n8n workflow runs every hour to discover newly registered domains using DomainKits live search, scrapes each site with Firecrawl, enriches it with DNS signals from DomainKits, and emails you a CSV domain profile report—one combined profile per domain.

What this workflow does

• Runs on a schedule: executes hourly.
• Discovers new domains: uses DomainKits live search to find newly registered domains matching your configured keyword.
• Filters out irrelevant listings: performs a DomainKits bulk DNS lookup to detect and exclude domains marked as for sale (and other non-profilable results per the DomainKits signals), then selects up to your configured profile_limit.
• Enriches each domain: for each selected domain, fetches DNS records from DomainKits and pulls a homepage summary via Firecrawl.
• Builds a single profile: combines page summary + DNS signals including addresses, nameservers, mail hosts, TXT records, and captures any read/scrape errors into one domain profile.
• Outputs and delivers: converts profiles into a CSV and emails it as an attachment, with a plain-text summary in the message body.

Technical details

• Install/configure DomainKits community node (n8n-nodes-domainkits v0.2.8+) and add a DomainKits Premium API key.
• Set up Firecrawl via an HTTP Header Auth credential: header name Authorization, value Bearer <your_firecrawl_api_key>.
• Update the keyword and profile_limit to control search scope and throughput.
• Workflow nodes include: set, code, split out, HTTP Request, and Email Send, plus a sticky note for workflow guidance.
