Turn RSS AI stories into ready-to-publish LinkedIn Company Page posts (automatically)
This n8n workflow runs daily at 08:00 (UK) to pull AI operations signals from TechCrunch, The Verge, and the OpenAI Blog, uses OpenAI to editorially select and write a LinkedIn post + hashtags, generates a poster image, then publishes to your LinkedIn Company Page—while logging outcomes to Airtable and sending a posting report via Gmail.
What this workflow does
- Runs on a schedule: executes every day at 08:00 UK time.
- Collects sources via RSS: reads the latest AI-related articles from TechCrunch, The Verge, and the OpenAI Blog, then merges them into a single list.
- Curates content: cleans, deduplicates, and balances items by source before creating a consolidated text brief.
- Selects a publishable operational signal: uses GPT-5 to choose the strongest “operational AI signal,” or marks the run as skip if quality is below a threshold.
- Writes and QA-checks the post: if approved, GPT-5 drafts and refines the LinkedIn post and derives up to two hashtags.
- Generates and verifies an image: creates an editorial poster image (via an external screenshot service or the OpenAI Images API), then QA-checks the image with OpenAI and retries on failure.
- Publishes + records results: uploads the approved image, publishes the Company Page post, updates Airtable with the LinkedIn URN/URL, and emails a posting log via Gmail.
Use cases
- SaaS teams that want consistent LinkedIn Company Page thought-leadership from curated AI news
- Automation engineers building an n8n pipeline for RSS → OpenAI editing → social publishing
- Operators who need an auditable workflow with Airtable logs and email reporting
