Automatically qualify n8n Form leads with OpenRouter—reply only when they’re a match
This n8n workflow captures new lead submissions from an n8n Form, uses OpenRouter to score and draft a personalized email response, logs outcomes in Google Sheets, and sends emails via Gmail only for qualified leads—then reminds you to follow up after 48 hours.
What this workflow does
- Receives new leads from an n8n Form, including contact details, the request, and urgency.
- Calls OpenRouter with the lead details and your business context to return a JSON payload containing a qualification score, a summary, and a ready-to-send reply email.
- Qualifies the lead by comparing the OpenRouter score against a minimum score threshold.
- If qualified: sends the OpenRouter-drafted reply to the lead using Gmail, and appends a “replied” row to the Leads tab in Google Sheets.
- If not qualified: appends a “not_qualified” row to the same Google Sheets tab, without emailing the lead.
- Follow-up reminder: waits 48 hours, then emails the owner a Gmail reminder to follow up with qualified leads.
Use cases
- SaaS operators who want lead scoring + personalized outreach from inbound form submissions.
- Automation engineers building qualification-first pipelines that avoid spamming unqualified contacts.
- Teams that need a simple CRM-like log in Google Sheets with clear lead statuses.
