This n8n workflow manually searches recent public X posts for a keyword using BeatAPI Social Data, then summarizes the preview results into a theme-based research draft with post-ID citations, and outputs the BeatAPI request ID for later retrieval.

What this workflow does

• Run manually to start the workflow and control inputs.
• In Configure Inputs, set your keyword, your X search_type (e.g., Latest), and the BeatAPI text model to use.
• Calls the BeatAPI Social Data endpoint to fetch a preview page of public X search results for the keyword.
• Extracts each post’s text and engagement signals, packaging them as evidence along with the Social Data request ID.
• Sends that evidence to the BeatAPI chat completions endpoint to generate a theme-based summary that includes post-ID citations.
• Outputs the research draft summary, source metadata, the number of posts summarized, and the Social Data request ID(s).

Technical details

• BeatAPI costs: credits for one Social Data search and one text-model call.
• Requires: BeatAPI account/API key, n8n instance, and HTTP Request + Code nodes; does not require an X account.
