This n8n workflow checks your trade settlements in Google Sheets every day, detects overdue items, uses Google Gemini to classify the delay reason and severity, then sends each affected client a Slack DM plus a formatted Gmail HTML report.

What this workflow does

• Runs on a daily schedule using a scheduled trigger.
• Reads trade records from Google Sheets and normalizes key fields such as trade ID, settlement date, status, client email, and Slack member ID.
• Validates and reformats settlement dates, then flags trades as delayed when the settlement date is before today and the status is not “settled”.
• Filters to delayed trades only and groups them by client email so each client receives a single batch.
• Calls Google Gemini (LangChain) for each client’s delayed trades to generate per-trade delay reasons, a severity level (HIGH / MEDIUM / LOW), and a recommended action.
• Routes by severity, then sends a Slack DM summary to each client and emails a detailed HTML report via Gmail.
