This n8n workflow monitors recent blockchain transactions every 15 minutes, cross-references whale and exchange addresses stored in Airtable, and—when high-value events happen—uses OpenAI to generate a cautious market interpretation. It logs results back to Airtable and posts a clear alert to Slack for your team.

What this workflow does

• Runs on a 15-minute schedule to stay current on new blockchain activity.
• Fetches recent transactions via an HTTP Request endpoint, normalizing the incoming data into individual transaction records.
• Enriches and classifies transactions using Airtable by loading:
  • Tracked whale wallets
  • Known exchange addresses
  Each transaction is classified as an exchange deposit, exchange withdrawal, or wallet-to-wallet movement.
• Calculates USD value and filters for impact, keeping only events worth at least $100,000.
• Prevents duplicates by checking Airtable to skip transactions already recorded.
• Calls OpenAI for high-value events to produce a short JSON interpretation plus a confidence score, then normalizes the result.
• Logs and alerts: creates a new record in Airtable for the whale movement event and posts a formatted alert to a Slack channel.
