The NorthDuty Critical Alerts to Slack n8n workflow automatically listens for Critical alerts from your chosen NorthDuty project, formats each incident into a clear Slack message, and posts it to the Slack channel your team uses for fast triage.

What this workflow does

• Triggers on Critical NorthDuty alerts as soon as NorthDuty detects a monitored problem in the selected project.
• Optionally narrows alert types so only the incidents you care about reach your incident channel (for example: failed customer journey, slow response, SSL expiry, or a low health score).
• Transforms the raw alert into a Slack-ready incident message that includes severity, project name, alert type, explanation, and a direct link to the relevant NorthDuty dashboard.
• Posts to a chosen Slack channel so the responsible team has the context needed to start investigating immediately—without hopping between multiple tools.
• Preserves original alert fields in case you want to add routing or enrichment later.

Setup: Add NorthDuty API credentials, select the monitored project, connect Slack credentials, run the workflow with the included example alert to verify the message format, then activate. When activated, the workflow automatically registers the n8n webhook with NorthDuty and removes it when deactivated.
