This Personalized Welcome Video n8n Workflow (Zvid + SMTP Email) automatically creates a landscape welcome video per signup using Zvid. It returns the finished video URL (and editor link) and can optionally deliver the result via SMTP email.

What this workflow does

• Receives signup details via a POST webhook (or lets you run a Sample manually).
• Loads onboarding settings—branding, onboarding cards, and CTA configuration—from your Config.
• Builds the welcome video in a landscape format and uses Zvid nodes to validate the credit quote.
• Saves an editable draft and captures its editor link for review.
• Supports dryRun=true to return the draft and quote without rendering.
• By default (dryRun=false), renders an MP4 and polls until completion or timeout.
• Returns results, previews completed media in Watch video, and can optionally send an email.

Technical details

• n8n requirements: self-hosted n8n with community nodes enabled.
• Install: @zvid/n8n-nodes-zvid from Settings → Community nodes (may require an admin/workspace owner).
• Zvid integration: Zvid API credential with Base URL https://api.zvid.io and API key from https://app.zvid.io/api-keys.
• Workflow nodes used: webhook, set, if, code, wait, and email send.
• Email: disabled by default; enable with sendEmail=true, plus SMTP configuration and emailFrom.
