Verify Qersh Webhooks and Log Wallet Transfers to Google Sheets—Automatically
Turn incoming Qersh wallet-transfer webhooks into clean, auditable records in Google Sheets. This n8n workflow verifies Qersh webhook signatures, prevents duplicate entries using delivery_id, and updates existing rows to mark suspected forgery when Qersh flags an event.
What this workflow does
- Receives signed POST webhooks from Qersh, including the raw JSON delivery payload and signature headers.
- Validates request authenticity: the workflow verifies the X-Qersh-Signature HMAC against the raw body using your provided connection_key. Invalid requests are rejected with a 401.
- Returns responses fast: for valid deliveries it responds with 200 OK immediately, then continues processing.
- Ignores connection tests to avoid polluting your sheet.
- Logs new incoming transfers for transfer.received events by checking delivery_id in Google Sheets and appending a new row only if it’s not already logged.
- Handles updates for suspected forgery: for update events flagged as suspected forgery, it finds the matching row by transfer_id and sets status to “SUSPECTED FORGERY”.
Use cases
- Maintain a reliable transfer ledger for your SaaS, with signature-verified webhook ingestion.
- Detect and record potential fraud: automatically update transfer status when Qersh issues a forgery verdict.
- Audit wallet activity without manual reconciliation—duplicates are prevented by delivery_id.
Technical details
- Webhook node receives Qersh POST events.
- Signature verification is implemented with workflow steps that check the X-Qersh-Signature HMAC using the Qersh connection_key.
- Google Sheets integration: read/append/update using columns such as received_at, amount, currency, payer_number, payer_name, provider_txn_id, wallet, risk, auto_confirm_ok, transfer_id, delivery_id, and status.
- Control flow nodes: if, set, code, no op, sticky note.
Set up once, then let this n8n automation continuously verify Qersh webhook deliveries and keep your Google Sheets transfer history accurate and up to date.
