Reactivate n8n Workflows Nightly via Data Table & REST API

Re-activate n8n workflows every morning—automatically

This n8n automation workflow runs nightly to restore any n8n workflows that were temporarily disabled for maintenance. It reads workflow IDs from an n8n Data Table, reactivates each one via the n8n REST API, and then clears the log so the next maintenance cycle starts fresh.

What this workflow does

• Runs on a schedule: executes daily at 08:45 using the Schedule trigger.
• Builds REST API requests: sets the n8n instance base URL used to construct API calls.
• Reads maintenance log entries: loads all rows from a selected n8n Data Table that contains a workflow_id column (and optionally other metadata).
• Reactivates workflows: iterates through the logged workflow IDs and calls the n8n REST API (via an HTTP Request node) to activate each workflow.
• Resets the maintenance log: after processing completes, deletes all rows from the same Data Table to prepare for the next cycle.
