This n8n workflow reconciles Razorpay UPI payments and settlements against your invoice and bank-credit records in Google Sheets every day, flags exceptions, sends receipts and recovery emails, and posts a Slack digest for operational visibility.

What this workflow does

• Runs on schedule: Executes daily at 7:30 AM to keep your books up to date.
• Loads reconciliation data from Google Sheets: Pulls invoices, bank credits, the payments ledger, and existing exceptions.
• Pulls Razorpay data via API: Fetches recent Razorpay payments, the settlement reconciliation report, and settlement records using pagination.
• Matches payments to invoices: Uses stored manual overrides, invoice references, or Razorpay order IDs to link captured payments to invoices.
• Validates settlement + bank-credit status: Checks settlement and bank-credit state, calculates fees, and writes updates back to Google Sheets across the ledger, settlement, invoices, and exception records.
• Handles unmatched payments with OpenAI: For payments that don’t match, it sends plausible invoice candidates to GPT-4o to generate a suggested match, then logs the suggestion as an exception (without auto-applying it).
• Sends receipts + manages payment links: Emails payment receipts via Gmail for newly paid invoices and cancels any existing Razorpay payment links for paid or replaced invoices.
• Recovers failed payments: For eligible failed cases, creates a new Razorpay payment link, uses GPT-4o to draft a recovery email, sends it via Gmail, updates chase fields in Google Sheets, and escalates high-value/final-attempt scenarios to Slack.
