This n8n workflow finds open, follow-up-worthy quotes in your Google Sheets, re-checks their status via an HTTP call to your CRM, generates a personalized follow-up with OpenAI (GPT-4o mini), and sends it via Gmail for the first touch or Twilio SMS for later touches. Every touch is logged back to Google Sheets so you can track results.

What this workflow does

• Runs daily at 10:00 AM on a schedule.
• Reads your Google Sheets “Quotes” tab and selects quotes that are open, not opted out, and due for the next touch based on sent date and touch count (day 2 email, day 7 SMS, day 14 final SMS).
• Verifies quote status via HTTP by calling your CRM/quoting system endpoint to confirm the quote is still open before sending.
• Generates follow-up copy using OpenAI (GPT-4o mini) in your business voice—appropriate for email or SMS.
• Sends the message using Gmail for the first touch, and Twilio SMS for subsequent touches.
• Logs outcomes by appending a touch record to the “Touches” tab and recording quotes found closed to the “ClosedLog” tab.
