This RSS to LinkedIn Drafts workflow pulls new articles from your RSS feed, scrapes and summarizes them with AWS Bedrock (Claude), creates or validates a hero image, and stores ready-to-review LinkedIn content in a Notion review queue. Approved posts publish to LinkedIn daily at 08:30, with Slack alerts when anything fails.

What this workflow does

• Polls RSS daily and normalizes each article URL, limiting the run to a set number of items per cycle.
• Deduplicates in Notion by checking whether a queue entry already exists for the normalized URL.
• Scrapes with Firecrawl and stops processing if the returned markdown is below a minimum length.
• Generates LinkedIn copy with AWS Bedrock (Claude) using strict style rules, including style/tone checks that can auto-fix or reject non-compliant output.
• Handles images: validates the article OG image via an HTTP HEAD request, or generates an illustration using an AWS Bedrock image model and uploads it to Cloudinary (with a default fallback if needed).
• Writes to Notion with the LinkedIn draft, image link, and author attribution, marking the row as Needs Approval, then sends a Slack message with a review link.
• Publishes at 08:30: retrieves one queued row, posts text + image to LinkedIn, and marks it Published; updates statuses like Needs Edit when generation or publishing fails (when applicable).
