Schedule Instagram posts at the best times—automatically—using Rubinyun in n8n

Turn your Instagram publishing into a data-driven, hands-off process. Rubinyun (n8n) analyzes your account’s engagement history to pick the optimal upcoming time, then queues your post for that exact schedule.

What this workflow does

  • Manual trigger: Start the workflow whenever you’re ready to publish (via n8n’s Manual Trigger).
  • Find the best posting slot: The workflow sends an HTTP request to the Rubinyun API to calculate the best upcoming time based on your Instagram performance history and current queue.
  • Queue your Instagram post: It then sends the post details—type, image URL, caption, and the suggested scheduled time—back to Rubinyun so the post is added to the publishing queue.

Use cases

  • SaaS operators who want consistent publishing without manually guessing “best times.”
  • Automation engineers building repeatable Instagram workflows with scheduling logic driven by historical engagement.
  • Marketers using n8n who maintain a queue of content and want each post scheduled to a computed optimal time.
  • Multi-profile management, when you want to direct posts to a second Instagram profile using the optional channel field.
