This n8n workflow reads your “Ready” rows from a Google Sheets post calendar, validates the post text, links, and optional media in Preflight, and then schedules (or queues) approved posts—writing back status, Post IDs, and any issues to the sheet.

What this workflow does

• Runs every 15 minutes using a Schedule Trigger.
• Reads the Google Sheets tab named “Posts” and selects rows where Status is set to Ready.
• Handles optional media: if a Media URL is provided, the workflow uploads the file to Preflight and waits for it to be processed.
• Validates content in Preflight: sends post text, channels, optional Link, and the uploaded media ID to Preflight to check each network’s rules.
• Creates a post in Preflight when validation passes:
  • If Publish At is set, it schedules for that time.
  • If Publish At is empty, it queues the post instead.
• Uses idempotency based on the row number and a text hash to avoid duplicate creations.
• Updates the sheet with Scheduled (and the Preflight Post ID) or sets Needs fix/Error with detailed issues when validation or publishing fails.
