Scrape Google Maps Reviews into Google Sheets with an n8n Workflow
This n8n workflow uses the GMaps Lead Finder API to scrape Google Maps reviews for a single place and automatically appends the results as new rows in Google Sheets.
What this workflow does
- Runs manually when you click Test workflow.
- Sets the Google Maps place URL (or business_id) and the GMaps Lead Finder API base URL (confirm it is https://gmapsleadfinder.com).
- Calls the GMaps Lead Finder /api/v1/me endpoint to verify your account and available credits.
- Creates a GMaps Lead Finder review job for the specified place, then waits and polls until the job finishes (completed, partial, or failed).
- Fetches up to 100 review results for the finished job.
- Splits the returned review rows into individual items and appends them to a selected Google Sheets worksheet.
Use cases
- Build a repeatable pipeline to collect Google Maps reviews from a specific business listing and store them for later analysis.
- Keep a marketing ops or customer success team’s review dataset in Google Sheets without manual copy/paste.
- Use n8n to refresh a Google Sheets table with the latest scraped review rows after verifying API credits.
Technical details
- GMaps Lead Finder API via HTTP Request using a header auth credential: Authorization: Bearer <your_api_key>.
- Google Sheets connection for appending review rows to a target spreadsheet and worksheet.
- n8n nodes used: if, set, code, wait, and `sticky note`, plus HTTP Request.
Set your place URL (or business_id), configure your API base URL, and run the workflow to turn Google Maps reviews into structured data in Google Sheets.
