Find Better Local Leads From Serper Maps—Score, Deduplicate, and Save to Google Sheets (n8n)
This n8n workflow runs a Serper Maps search for local businesses, deduplicates and qualifies the results, then calculates a lead score and appends only the best-fit leads to your Google Sheets “Leads” tab.
What this workflow does
Designed for B2B lead research and qualification, the workflow:
- Runs manually when you start it in n8n.
- Sets Serper Maps search inputs including your API key, query, map coordinates (ll), page, and result limits—along with qualification rules.
- Builds a list of page requests and calls the Serper Maps API for each page of results.
- Deduplicates businesses and filters out listings that don’t meet requirements (for example, missing a website) or match blocked company terms/domains.
- Calculates a lead score for each remaining business, keeps leads above your minimum score, and caps results to your maximum result count.
- Appends qualified lead records to the Google Sheets “Leads” tab, including: name, phone, website, address, score, and source metadata.
Use cases
- Generate a targeted prospect list for local B2B outreach by industry keywords and location coordinates.
- Continuously build a qualified lead pipeline in Google Sheets without manual cleanup.
- Reduce duplicate entries and exclude unwanted vendors using blocked domains/terms and qualification rules.
Technical details
- n8n nodes: Set, Code, Sticky Note, HTTP Request, Google Sheets.
- Integrations: Serper Maps API and Google Sheets (append into a tab named “Leads”).
Setup checklist
- Add your Serper API key to the Lead Search Configuration values (or use an n8n credential/variable).
- Connect Google Sheets in n8n and create a tab named “Leads” with matching columns.
- Update the Google Sheets document ID and tune query, coordinates (ll), paging/max caps, and scoring thresholds.
