This Shopify EU 30-Day Lowest Price Rule n8n workflow audits every product discount, stores a 30-day “price diary” inside Shopify, and fixes or flags invalid discounts—with Gmail alerts when it needs you to confirm.

What this workflow does

• Runs on change + nightly safety net: triggers whenever a product changes in your shop and also once every night.
• Reads the current pricing: for each product variant, it fetches today’s price and the crossed-out “was” price shown on the discount.
• Keeps history where it belongs: it maintains a small price history (“price diary”) on each variant inside Shopify, so nothing external needs to store long-term price data.
• Calculates the real 30-day low: it computes the lowest price in the 30 days before the sale started for that variant.
• Enforces the EU rule: if the displayed “was” price is higher than the true 30-day low, it can lower it to the correct value. If the discount isn’t genuinely cheaper, it removes the crossed-out price.
• Asks when it can’t be sure: if there isn’t enough history to confidently verify, it emails you and you choose “Fix it” or “Keep it”. It sends one question at a time, avoids repeat emails while you decide, and never treats silence as approval.
• After trust, can act automatically: once you confirm, it can apply corrections on its own and email you a summary of every change and why.
