Shopify to Pinterest PinBridge Workflow + Telegram Alerts

Automate Pinterest posting from Shopify—plus optional Telegram alerts

This n8n workflow automatically pins every new (or updated) Shopify product to a specific Pinterest board once it’s actually live—active, published to your Online Store, and with a photo. It also supports optional Telegram alerts to notify you when each pin goes live or fails.

What this workflow does

• Listens for Shopify product events: two Shopify triggers fire when a product is created or updated, so drafts that later go active, or products that receive a photo later, still get pinned.
• Validates your configuration first: if the account ID, board ID, or store URL is still a placeholder, the run stops and clearly tells you what to fill in.
• Skips ineligible products: products that are not active, not published to the Online Store (or scheduled later), missing a photo, or already pinned are excluded. The filter output includes the reason for each skip.
• Builds pin content from Shopify: pin title, description, link, and alt text are generated from the product fields (including lowest price and the photo alt text). HTML is cleaned up, and no hashtags are added.
• Uploads the product photo to PinBridge and publishes the pin using an asset ID—so Pinterest doesn’t need to fetch your store CDN.
• Prevents duplicates with idempotency: an idempotency key derived from product + board IDs ensures one pin per board, even if Shopify sends the same event twice. The workflow also remembers pinned products so later edits skip re-upload.
• Optional Telegram notifications: when PinBridge returns pin.published or pin.failed, signed webhooks are verified and matched to the correct event.
