This n8n workflow monitors new Shopify orders, checks whether they qualify as wholesale/B2B using the Shopify Admin GraphQL API, and instantly sends a formatted HTML email alert via SMTP when a qualifying order is detected.

What this workflow does

• Triggers on every new Shopify order created in your store.
• Loads configurable wholesale rules, including your shop subdomain, a wholesale/B2B tag, a minimum order value threshold, and the alert email addresses.
• Queries Shopify Admin GraphQL to fetch customer tags and (for B2B) company and location details not included in the order webhook.
• Evaluates the order against your wholesale criteria (B2B company order and/or matching wholesale tags, plus the minimum order value).
• Sends an HTML email alert via SMTP only when the order qualifies, including order details and a Shopify Admin link.

Setup

• Create and install a Shopify app, then connect it to n8n with a Shopify OAuth2 API credential.
• Add an SMTP credential in n8n and select it in the email-sending step.
• Update the workflow Settings (shop subdomain, wholesale tag, minimum order value, and to/from email addresses) before activating.
