This n8n workflow receives WhatsApp message webhooks from Wati, looks up the sender in Wati, creates or updates the matching contact in GoHighLevel, saves the latest message as a contact note, and logs the Wati-to-conversation mapping in Google Sheets.

What this workflow does

• Receives WhatsApp message events via a Wati webhook to the workflow’s webhook URL.
• Finds the sender in Wati using the WhatsApp ID (waId) and retrieves the sender’s profile details.
• Pulls recent conversation messages for that Wati conversation from Wati.
• Creates or updates a GoHighLevel contact using Wati name and phone, tied to your GoHighLevel locationId.
• Adds a contact note in GoHighLevel containing the WhatsApp message text.
• Appends tracking data to Google Sheets, recording the Wati ID and Wati conversation ID for ongoing synchronization.
