Sync WooCommerce, WordPress & Google Drive to Pinecone with OpenAI

Keep your Pinecone knowledge base synced with WooCommerce, WordPress, and Google Drive—using OpenAI embeddings

This n8n workflow automatically converts your WooCommerce products/reviews, WordPress pages/posts, and Google Drive files into OpenAI vector embeddings, chunks the content, and keeps a Pinecone index up to date. It also tracks sync status in an n8n Data Table (pinecone_sync_state) so only new or changed content is processed.

What this workflow does

• Runs on multiple triggers: manual execution, daily schedules (blog at 4:00 AM and products at 5:00 AM), a Google Drive new-file trigger, and WooCommerce webhook events for product changes.
• Validates required configuration: store URL, Pinecone index settings, OpenAI embedding model/dimensions, chunking rules, and trigger-specific values (such as Drive folder ID or WooCommerce webhook secret).
• WooCommerce batch sync: fetches all published products, uses pinecone_sync_state to detect new/changed items, removes vectors for unpublished/deleted products, then loads each product’s variations and latest reviews.
• WooCommerce webhook sync: verifies the WooCommerce HMAC signature, resolves the canonical product ID, deletes vectors for deleted/unpublished products, or fetches product details (plus variations and reviews) for updates.
• WordPress blog sync: inventories published posts/pages via the WordPress REST API with pagination, removes vectors for deleted items, and fetches full content for new/changed entries.
• Google Drive sync: lists files in a target folder, skips temp/unchanged files, and extracts text from Docs/Sheets/PDF (with OCR fallback) and other file types using OpenAI Vis-based processing.
