Log Every Meal Photo to Google Sheets with Telegram + Gemini Vision (Daily Totals Included)

This n8n workflow turns meal photos sent to your Telegram bot into structured nutrition estimates using Google Gemini Vision, then automatically records each entry in Google Sheets and replies back with the per-meal estimate plus your running daily totals.

What this workflow does

• Listens in Telegram for a new message sent to your bot.
• Validates the message: if the message doesn’t include a photo, the workflow replies requesting a meal photo.
• Processes the photo: downloads the largest available Telegram photo version and sends it to Google Gemini Vision (including any caption) to return structured dish and nutrition estimates.
• Food detection gate: if Gemini indicates the image is not food, the workflow stops and replies in Telegram accordingly.
• Appends to Google Sheets: writes date/time, user info, dish, portion, calories, macros, confidence, and notes to a Meals tab.
• Reads today’s totals for the same Telegram user and sends a Telegram reply containing the meal estimate and updated daily totals.
