Telegram to Leonardo AI Image Generator with n8n Workflow

Turn Telegram messages into Leonardo AI images—automatically

This self-hosted n8n automation workflow listens to your Telegram bot, sends the incoming text to Leonardo AI to generate an image, and then posts the resulting image back into the same Telegram chat—with your original prompt as the caption.

What this workflow does

• Telegram Trigger: Starts whenever a new message is received by your Telegram bot.
• Text filter: Continues only if the message contains non-empty text.
• Prompt + image settings: Prepares the prompt and default generation options, including width, height, number of images, and the Leonardo model ID.
• Leonardo AI generation: Calls Leonardo AI and waits for the final image URL to be returned.
• Send back to Telegram: Sends the generated image URL to Telegram as a photo, using the original prompt as the caption.
