This n8n workflow turns a Telegram bot into a Telegram Translator for Freelancers: it transcribes incoming voice/audio with OpenAI, detects translation direction automatically, and replies back in Telegram with a clean, copy-ready translation.

What this workflow does

• Listens for new Telegram messages using a Telegram Trigger.
• Handles voice notes and audio: when a message includes voice/audio, the workflow downloads the file from Telegram, adjusts the filename to .ogg, and then transcribes it with OpenAI.
• Handles text messages: if the incoming message is plain text, it uses the message text directly.
• Translates with an OpenAI chat model: sends the input text to an OpenAI chat model (currently set to gpt-5-mini) which detects whether to translate to English or from English and returns structured JSON.
• Includes optional extras: the JSON supports back-translation and a short note.
• Formats the Telegram reply as HTML, including a tap-to-copy block for English output when translating to English.
• Replies in the same chat thread to the original message with the formatted translation.
