This n8n workflow receives new subscriber signup data via a Webhook and automatically sends a two-email welcome sequence with timed waits—helping you engage subscribers during their first week and reduce churn by keeping your brand top of mind.

What this workflow does

• Receives a webhook request that includes the subscriber’s email address (the payload must contain an email field).
• Waits 1 minute after receiving the signup event before starting the email sequence.
• Sends the first welcome email to the provided address.
• Waits 3 days after the welcome email is sent.
• Sends a follow-up email to the same recipient to continue onboarding and engagement.

• SaaS onboarding: Trigger the sequence whenever a user subscribes to your product updates or newsletter.
• Landing page conversions: Connect a signup form/app that calls your webhook so new subscribers get emails without manual follow-up.

Technical details

• Webhook trigger: Accepts inbound subscriber events and reads the email field from the payload.
• Wait node(s): Implements the 1-minute delay and the 3-day delay between emails.
• Email Send action: Sends both emails to the subscriber using an SMTP email account.

Setup requirements

• Configure the Webhook trigger and copy its URL into your signup form/app.
• Set up SMTP credentials for the Send Email action and confirm your sender address (e.g., hello@you.com) is valid.
• Customize the email subject/body text as needed.
