This n8n workflow checks your Amazon keyword rankings every day, calculates your best organic position and share of shelf, compares results to yesterday, and posts only meaningful updates to Slack—so you can spot ranking movement fast.

What this workflow does

• Runs daily (or on demand) on a schedule to crawl Amazon search results for a defined list of keywords.
• Builds one Bright Data crawl input per keyword, then triggers the Bright Data Amazon dataset with a per-keyword result cap.
• Polls Bright Data until the snapshot is ready (or stops after a maximum number of checks) and then downloads the snapshot results.
• Separates sponsored from organic listings, renumbers only the organic placements into a counted position per keyword, and identifies your listings by brand and/or ASINs.
• Calculates performance metrics including your best organic position, how many top slots you occupy (share of shelf), and which products rank above you.
• Compares to yesterday by reading prior metrics from an n8n Data Table, flags notable movements (entered, dropped out, first run, or moved beyond a threshold), and posts a digest to Slack only when there’s something worth reporting.
• Upserts today’s metrics back into the n8n Data Table to establish the baseline for the next comparison.
