Know when Google Hotels get cheaper—automatically, every day
This n8n workflow tracks Google Hotels price drops for a chosen city and date range, then posts a daily Slack alert listing the hotels whose nightly price fell since the last run.
What this workflow does
- Runs daily at 08:00 using an n8n schedule trigger.
- Calls the Apify Google Hotels Scraper Actor with your:
- target location/city
- check-in and check-out dates
- optional minimum rating filter
- optional monitorName to track price history
- Requests results focused specifically on price drops.
- Formats up to 15 hotels into a single Slack message showing:
- hotel rating
- new price per night
- previous price
- a Google Hotels link
- Posts to your chosen Slack channel, and sends nothing if no price drops are returned.
Use cases
- Trip planning: monitor a destination and get alerted the moment a better nightly rate appears.
- SaaS operators & automation engineers: turn market changes into actionable notifications in Slack.
- Travel teams: coordinate booking decisions by catching daily price reductions without manual searching.
Technical details
- Schedule Trigger (daily at 08:00)
- HTTP Request to the Apify Google Hotels Scraper Actor
- Apify authentication via an n8n HTTP Header Auth credential using
