Track Target Account New Hires: Slack Alerts via n8n & Apify

Automatically track new hires at your target accounts—and alert your team in Slack

This n8n workflow runs every Monday to detect recent senior hires at specific target company domains using Apify’s New Hires Finder, then sends one Slack notification per matching hire with role and previous-employer details.

What this workflow does

• Runs on a schedule: Executes every Monday at 08:00.
• Targets specific companies: Loads a predefined list of companyDomains you maintain in the workflow (update the account-list code step).
• Finds new hires via Apify: Calls Apify (b2bsearch/new-hires-finder) to fetch people who started at those companies within the last month.
• Filters for decision-makers: Keeps only rows that are paid “found” results and filters seniority to manager, director, vp, and cxo.
• Sends Slack alerts per hire: Posts a formatted message for each matching hire including:
  • Company, name, title, and start date
  • Previous employer/title (when present)
  • LinkedIn profile URL
