This n8n workflow manually scans social media post drafts stored in Google Sheets, checks for required fields and duplicates per platform, then posts a clear Slack alert if new or changed issues are found. It also writes validation outcomes back to the sheet so your team can review immediately.

What this workflow does

• Manual trigger: You run the workflow on demand in n8n.
• Read draft rows: It pulls all post rows from a specified Google Sheets worksheet.
• Validate each post: For every row, it checks:
  • Unique, non-empty post_id
  • Supported platform
  • Non-empty content
  • Valid image_url format
• Detect duplicates per platform: It flags duplicate content for the same platform and assigns statuses such as READY_FOR_REVIEW or NEEDS_FIX.
• Slack alerts (optional behavior based on issues): If any post has new or changed validation issues, it sends a formatted message to a specified Slack channel.
• Write results back to Sheets: Matched by post_id, it updates status, validation_result, and checked_at.
