This n8n automation workflow verifies subcontractor onboarding license claims in the US by matching a submitted contractor license against the appropriate state licensing board using Apify. It normalizes and validates submissions, generates an auditable verification record, and can optionally notify your team in Slack.

What this workflow does

• Collects submissions via an n8n Form Trigger (using the workflow’s generated form URL as your onboarding intake).
• Normalizes & validates input (company, contact, email, state, and license number). If required fields are incomplete, it flags the record for manual review.
• Routes by US state and prepares the correct Apify actor input for supported states; unsupported states are also flagged for manual review.
• Looks up licensing-board evidence by running the appropriate Apify licence-lookup actor and retrieving matching board records.
• Compares claimed details (company and license details) to the board result to produce a clear verdict: pass, review, fail, or manual-review, plus a human-readable summary.
• Outputs a structured audit trail with timestamps, evidence fields (including status, expiry, and the source URL), and the final verdict.
• Optionally posts to Slack with the verification summary for fast internal visibility.
