This Wati to GoHighLevel WhatsApp Notes Sync n8n workflow listens for Wati webhooks and adds each inbound or delivered WhatsApp message as contact notes in GoHighLevel, using Google Sheets to map conversation IDs to contacts. When something fails, it sends an error alert to Slack.

What this workflow does

• Message delivered → create notes: Receives a webhook from Wati when a sent WhatsApp message is marked as delivered. It pulls conversation details from Wati, checks a Google Sheets tracker for the conversation ID, fetches the sender profile, and searches GoHighLevel for a matching contact by WhatsApp ID.
• Matching contact found: Creates a GoHighLevel contact note containing the WhatsApp message text.
• New inbound message → append or create: Receives a second webhook from Wati when a new inbound WhatsApp message arrives. It checks Google Sheets to see whether the conversation ID was logged before.
• Already logged: Searches GoHighLevel by WhatsApp ID and appends the inbound message as a note to the existing contact.
• New conversation: Appends the Wati ID and conversation ID to Google Sheets, then searches GoHighLevel by Wati ID—either adding a note to an existing contact or creating a new contact and attaching the note.
• Workflow errors → Slack alerts: If execution fails, the workflow posts an error alert to a Slack channel.
