What this workflow does

This n8n workflow can run manually or on a weekly schedule. It performs a technical audit loop for every URL found in your sitemap and appends the results to a Google Sheets technical audit log.

• Collect URLs from your sitemaps: Fetches page-sitemap.xml and post-sitemap.xml from your configured base site URL (no trailing slash) and parses the XML to extract all page URLs.
• Check HTTP status: For each URL, requests the page to capture the HTTP status code.
• Measure performance with PageSpeed Insights: Calls the Google PageSpeed Insights API to retrieve a performance score for each URL.
• Verify indexing with Search Console: Uses the Google Search Console URL Inspection API to retrieve the indexing/coverage state for each URL.
• Log results to Sheets: Combines the HTTP status, PageSpeed score, indexing result, and the check date into a single row per URL and appends it to your selected Google Sheets worksheet.
