This n8n workflow reads your client roster from Google Sheets, tracks upcoming TDS/GST/ROC tasks, and proactively sends WhatsApp Business API compliance reminders for due dates and missing documents. It also handles inbound WhatsApp messages to store documents in Google Drive and update your checklist status.

What this workflow does

• Monthly planning (1st & 15th at 6 AM): Reads the client list and existing Compliance_Tracker from Google Sheets, generates upcoming TDS, GST, and ROC tasks for active clients, skips tasks that already exist, and appends new rows to the Compliance_Tracker sheet.
• Daily reminder run (9 AM): Groups open items per client based on due dates and missing documents, then sends one WhatsApp message per client with a summary of upcoming/overdue items and what’s missing.
• Tracker updates: After sending, the workflow records the reminder date and increments the reminder count in Google Sheets.
• Inbound WhatsApp triggers: Matches the WhatsApp sender to a client in the Clients sheet and replies with the current checklist when the message is text.
• Document capture + checklist updates: For inbound files (documents/images), it downloads media via the WhatsApp Business API, uploads to the client’s Google Drive folder, uses OpenAI (gpt-4o-mini) to match the file to pending checklist items, updates Compliance_Tracker and Upload_Log, and sends a confirmation on WhatsApp.
