This n8n workflow turns WhatsApp messages into real restaurant bookings. Customers can book by text or voice, and the workflow uses Google Gemini to manage the conversation, then saves reservations in Google Sheets, updates events in Google Calendar, and sends WhatsApp confirmations to both the customer and the restaurant owner.

What this workflow does

• Receives WhatsApp messages when a new message arrives (via WhatsApp Trigger/OAuth and WhatsApp Cloud API).
• Detects message type: routes requests for text directly, or downloads voice notes and transcribes them using Google Gemini.
• Runs a Gemini-powered reservation agent that keeps per-customer conversation context using the customer’s phone number.
• Answers dish/price questions by reading your Google Sheets “Menu” tab and replying in Spanish.
• Creates, updates, or cancels bookings by writing reservation records to the Google Sheets “Reservas” tab and synchronizing matching events in Google Calendar.
• Notifies the restaurant owner via WhatsApp for every new booking, change, or cancellation, then sends the appropriate response back to the customer.
